On a leisurely Sunday afternoon, the irresistible charm of Radisson Blu in Kaushambi beckoned me. Initially lured by murmurs of their tantalizing new Summer Menu at the coffee shop, we had a delightful twist in store. As I wandered through the hotel’s corridors, I serendipitously stumbled upon a hidden treasure adjoining the coffee shop – the sophisticated rooftop retreat, Sky Grill, where the vibe was undeniable—sleek, inviting, and just downright cool. Without hesitation, I wrangled up my family and settled in.And let me tell you, I’m glad I did! While talking about the place with Mr. Rohit Chitkara, extremely courteous assistant F&B Manager, at Sky Grill, I discovered that the restaurant is the latest addition to Radisson Blu Kushambi’s repertoire.

It’s a paradise for foodies like us, boasting a mouthwatering spread of Italian, Lebanese and Mediterranean treats that’ll have your taste buds doing a happy dance. Trust me, it’s a flavor adventure you don’t want to miss! From the rooftop restaurant, you’re treated to an expansive vista, where floor-to-ceiling glass walls offer breathtaking panoramic views of the city below. The sheer height adds to the allure, making it a sight to behold. But it’s not just about the view; it’s the whole vibe. Picture this: vibrant interiors, lively tunes filling the air, and greenery all around. And those enchanting green wind chimes? They add a touch of magic to the scene. Plus, don’t miss the captivating murals adorning the walls, adding to the restaurant’s natural yet dreamlike ambiance. It’s a feast for the senses in every way.

The decor combines natural elements with modern touches. There are large windows offering panoramic views of the city, enhancing the dining experience with an open and airy feel. The ambiance is a mix of luxurious and casual, perfect for both formal and informal dining. The overall color palette includes warm earth tones complemented by the metallic finishes and natural light from the large windows. The design and decor of Sky Grill at Radisson Blu create an inviting and upscale dining environment, blending modern aesthetics with comfort and elegance.

As we settled in, the journey began with the divine amuse-bouche – a petite marvel presented before us. A delicate Parmesan cup cradled a velvety blend of ricotta cheese and succulent fresh mango, setting the stage for the culinary adventure that lay ahead. With each bite, the creamy ricotta, tangy mango, and salty umami finish of the Parmesan cup danced on my palate, a symphony of flavors and textures that left me craving more. The entire menu was meticulously curated by Deepak Singh, Chef de partie who informed us about the signature delicacies of the place and how the menu caters to discerning palates with authentic Mediterranean and global flavors. Next, the Arancini Flotina graced our table, enticing us with its crispy exterior and creamy interior.

Each bite revealed the perfect harmony of risotto rice, melted mozzarella cheese, pomodoro tomatoes, and fragrant basil – a delightful medley of taste and texture that left us yearning for another serving. As we were enjoying the flavors, The Greek salad arrived, a vibrant canvas of cucumbers, bell peppers, onions, and feta cheese, promising a refreshing interlude in our culinary journey. Its simple yet flavorful ingredients, expertly balanced in sweet, salty, tangy, and bitter notes, refreshed our palates and prepared us for the delights yet to come.

Followed by the Greek Salad, next on our table was the mezze platter which completely transported us to the vibrant streets of the Middle East, with its array of dips – smooth hummus, fiery muhammara, and smoky baba ghanoush. Each spoonful was a revelation of nutty, earthy, and tangy undertones, a culinary journey through the diverse flavors of Middle Eastern cuisine. Each bite promises an immersive journey through the authentic flavors and fresh ingredients of Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisines and our journey was not over yet.

The Shish Taouk stole the show with its tender chicken infused with Arabic spices, grilled to perfection, and served with a luscious garlic-infused yogurt. Each mouthful was a celebration of bold flavors and culinary finesse, transporting us to distant lands with its vibrant spices and fresh accompaniments. We also relished Grilled Lamb Chop with Truffle Mash Potato, Sautéed Butter-Glazed Vegetables, and Mushroom Pepper Sauce was a masterful symphony of flavors, with each component contributing to a harmonious and memorable dining experience. The tender lamb, luxurious truffle mash, vibrant vegetables, and rich mushroom pepper sauce melded together in perfect synergy, creating a dish that was both comforting and sophisticated.

Finally, the Neapolitan pizza arrived, an Italian classic elevated to perfection. Fresh heirloom tomatoes, creamy buffalo mozzarella, and plump Kalamata olives atop a crisp, chewy crust – each bite was a revelation of pure, unadulterated bliss, a celebration of the timeless flavors of Italy.

And we tried all these delicacies with refreshing mocktails at Sky Grill.To conclude, my sojourn at Sky Grill was a culinary odyssey, a symphony of flavors and textures that left an indelible mark on my palate. It’s a destination for the discerning foodie, where every dish tells a story, and every bite is a revelation of culinary artistry. Boasting panoramic vistas, Skygrill definitely sets the stage for an unparalleled dining affair, offering the perfect ambiance for cherished moments with loved ones.
