Chandigarh, In a significant leap for eco-conscious luxury hospitality, Forest Hill Resort (FHR), set against the pristine Shivalik foothills and adjoining the expansive Sukhna Wildlife Sanctuary, unveiled its reimagined identity anchored by the launch of an all-new Club House that signals a bold evolution in wilderness-led living.

Spanning an expansive 2,000-acre eco-sanctuary, FHR’s transformation positions it as a pioneering destination where refined hospitality meets immersive nature. The Club House launch marks a defining milestone in this journey, offering a sophisticated estate-style dining experience within a striking architectural setting.

On the sidelines of the unveiling, Senior Director Devinder Sandhu, alongside General Manager Karan Datta, Chef Amardeep Singh, and Chef Arshi Naeem, engaged with media to share insights into the resort’s vision, culinary philosophy, and future roadmap.

Luxury today is defined by authenticity, space, and a deeper connection with nature. At Forest Hill Resort, we are creating more than a destination—we are shaping a way of life rooted in sustainability, wellness, and refined hospitality,” said Devinder Sandhu. “Our vision is to build a community that values conscious living while delivering long-term lifestyle and investment value.”

The newly unveiled Club House is distinguished by its contemporary glass architecture, complete with a clear roof, intimate private dining spaces, and Le Jardin, an elegant alfresco venue designed for immersive outdoor experiences.

At the heart of the culinary programme lies The Vańa, a thoughtfully conceptualised dining space where menus traverse a rich spectrum—from comforting estate-style fare to globally inspired creations. Signature dishes such as Blue Cheese Naan Pockets, Old Delhi Mutton Seekh, and Truffle Dal Makhani underscore a commitment to bold flavours, premium ingredients, and refined technique.

“Our kitchen, The Vańa, is designed as a journey of flavours—rooted in nostalgia yet elevated in execution,” shared Chef Amardeep Singh.

Chef Arshi Naeem further added, “Each dish is crafted to evoke both familiarity and indulgence—from classics like Kashmiri Rogan Josh to desserts such as Valrhona Chocolate Fondant and Flamed Vanilla Mille-Feuille—creating a deeply immersive dining experience.”

The resort’s expansive culinary offering spans Indian, Continental, Pan-Asian, and Oriental cuisines, with a strong farm-to-table ethos driven by fresh, locally sourced ingredients cultivated within FHR’s own farms.

Reinforcing its philosophy of conscious luxury, FHR integrates sustainability into every aspect of its development. Less than 20% of the land is allocated for construction, ensuring the preservation of native flora and fauna. Built using local materials and techniques, the resort seamlessly blends with its natural surroundings while minimising ecological impact.

“At a time when luxury is evolving beyond opulence to meaningful, immersive living, we are pioneering a nature-first approach—where guests can connect deeply with the land through curated outdoor experiences, organic produce, and biodiversity-rich surroundings,” Sandhu noted.

The property offers over 50 curated outdoor experiences, including a golf course, off-roading, horseback riding, hiking, biking, boating, wildlife safaris, bird watching, zip-lining, as well as a dedicated spa and yoga centre—creating a holistic lifestyle ecosystem within an eco-sanctuary.

Looking ahead, FHR is in advanced discussions with leading international hospitality brands to introduce premium branded residences, enhancing both global service standards and asset appreciation potential. In a strategic collaboration, The Ultimate Travelling Camp (TUTC) will manage a boutique wilderness lodge featuring luxury cottages, set for a soft launch, followed by phased introductions of villas and branded residences in association with a leading five-star international hospitality brand.

Further elevating accessibility and exclusivity, the resort will feature twin helipads for charter helicopter services. Positioned as a gated golf estate in close proximity to Chandigarh, FHR aims to create a future-ready destination where luxury and ecology exist in perfect harmony.

Bordered by over 10,000 acres of protected forest, Forest Hill Resort is poised to set new benchmarks in experiential hospitality—seamlessly blending sustainability, nature, and elevated living.
