Jaipur, September 2026: Raffles Jaipur has made a notable debut on the Tatler Best India Awards list, securing two spots in the inaugural edition. The luxury retreat has been recognised among India’s Top 20 Hotels, while its literary-themed Writers Bar has also earned a place among the country’s Top 20 Bars.

The twin honours spotlight Raffles Jaipur’s distinctive approach to luxury, bringing together Rajasthan’s architectural heritage, locally rooted experiences, refined dining and the brand’s signature Butler Service.

The latest recognition joins an impressive collection of accolades for the property. Raffles Jaipur has previously received Two MICHELIN Keys, was ranked No. 1 Hotel in India in the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2025, and was also recognised at the Robb Report Hong Kong Best of the Best Awards 2026.

Nestled against the Aravalli hills, Raffles Jaipur offers a modern interpretation of palace living while drawing deeply from Rajasthan’s cultural and architectural traditions. Its design takes inspiration from the Zenana — the women’s quarters of the Mughal court — with white marble, carved arches, intricate jaali work, thikri mosaic and craftsmanship created with the expertise of local artisans.

The stay is further defined by Raffles’ renowned Butler Service and an eclectic collection of experiences across the property. Guests can explore progressive North Indian cuisine at Arkaa, enjoy the London Tea Exchange experience at Safir Tea & Champagne Lounge, dine above the city at Sehara, or retreat to the expansive 620-square-metre spa. Artisan workshops, intimate concerts and curated cultural encounters offer further ways to experience Rajasthan through the Raffles perspective.

Writers Bar Brings a Literary Tradition to Jaipur

The second Tatler honour goes to Writers Bar, which has been named among India’s Top 20 Bars. Drawing inspiration from the literary history of Raffles Singapore, the Jaipur outpost gives the concept its own distinctly Rajasthani character.

The interiors combine a library-like atmosphere with pastel blue and white tones, hand-painted Mughal-inspired motifs and carved architectural details, creating an intimate setting that feels both sophisticated and rooted in place.

Its signature Raffles Jaipur Sling offers another connection to the brand’s celebrated cocktail heritage. Reimagining the iconic Singapore Sling for its Jaipur setting, the drink combines Indian dry gin, hibiscus and Chandrahas, a royal Rajasthani liqueur made with 80 herbs.

Together, the two Tatler recognitions underline Raffles Jaipur’s growing reputation as one of India’s distinctive luxury destinations — a place where the grandeur of palace living meets contemporary hospitality and the cultural character of Rajasthan.

Rajat Sethi, Cluster General Manager, Raffles Jaipur and Fairmont Jaipur, said:
“Being recognised by Tatler Best India across both the hotel and bar categories is a proud moment for our entire team. At Raffles Jaipur, we believe luxury lies in creating a strong sense of place, where every detail helps guests connect with Rajasthan in an authentic manner. This recognition reflects the dedication of our team and our commitment to creating thoughtful, distinctive experiences that capture the character of Raffles Jaipur and the heritage of Rajasthan.
