Delhi’s dining scene is getting a vibrant taste of Northeast India as Lore, the signature world cuisine restaurant at Radisson Hotel Delhi MG Road, presents the 7 Sisters Food Festival, running from July 1 to July 21, 2026.

The limited-period culinary showcase brings together the distinctive food traditions of the seven Northeastern states, offering diners an immersive journey through one of India’s most diverse regional cuisines.

Conceptualised by Executive Chef Kush Koli, the festival pays tribute to the culinary heritage of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura, with a thoughtfully curated menu that highlights authentic recipes, indigenous ingredients and traditional cooking techniques.

Guests can expect an array of dishes showcasing signature regional flavours, featuring ingredients such as fermented bamboo shoot, axone (fermented soybean), black sesame and the fiery bhoot jolokia. Each preparation reflects the simplicity, freshness and depth of Northeast Indian cuisine while staying true to its cultural roots.

Complementing the food is a specially crafted beverage programme inspired by the region. Signature cocktails include the spicy Naga Fire, blending tequila reposado with bird’s eye chilli tincture, and the refreshing Assam Collins, infused with Earl Grey tea and kaffir lime. For those preferring non-alcoholic options, the Khasi Cloud, made using Khasi mandarin juice from Meghalaya, offers a refreshing regional twist.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the festival, Kush Koli, Executive Chef, Radisson Hotel Delhi MG Road, said, “The cuisine of Northeast India is deeply rooted in tradition, local produce and generations of culinary wisdom. Through the 7 Sisters Food Festival, we wanted to bring these authentic flavours to Delhi while preserving the integrity of every dish. It is an opportunity for diners to discover ingredients and recipes that remain relatively unexplored in mainstream Indian dining.”

Sharing the vision behind the initiative, Ashish Saxena, General Manager, Radisson Hotel Delhi MG Road, said, “Food has the power to connect people with cultures, and this festival celebrates one of India’s richest culinary landscapes. At Lore, we continue to create experiences that go beyond dining, giving guests an opportunity to explore regional traditions through thoughtfully curated menus and authentic storytelling.”

The dining experience is available at ₹3,599 plus taxes for the non-alcoholic menu, while the experience paired with alcoholic beverages is priced at ₹4,599 plus taxes.

With its focus on authentic ingredients, regional recipes and immersive flavours, the 7 Sisters Food Festival offers Delhi’s food lovers a rare opportunity to experience the culinary richness of Northeast India under one roof.
