Pasta Street Brings Italian Flavors to Delhi

From Bengaluru to Delhi: Pasta Street’s Flavorful Journey Continues

Stepping into Pasta Street Punjabi Bagh, I was immediately greeted by the warm aroma of melting cheese and fresh herbs. The scent alone hinted at what was to come. It truly felt like I had walked into a cozy Italian trattoria, tucked away in the heart of Delhi.

Founded in 2011 by Italian entrepreneur Massimiliano Gini, Pasta Street first won hearts on Cunningham Road, Bengaluru. Over time, it grew—adding eight vibrant outlets across the city. And now, with bold confidence, it arrives in Delhi’s bustling Club Road.

Even better, new locations in Noida and Gurugram are expected in 2025. Clearly, Pasta Street is not just expanding—it’s redefining Italian cuisine in Delhi with soul and sincerity. As their motto goes, “La vita è una combinazione di pasta e amore”—life is a combination of pasta and love.

A Fresh Start: Quinoa Avocado Salad

We kicked things off with the Insalata di Quinoa con Avocado. Light, yet satisfying. The nutty quinoa gave it a hearty base, while creamy avocado melted on the tongue. Meanwhile, cherry tomatoes added bursts of juicy sweetness.

However, it was the citrus dressing that tied it all together. Zesty and refreshing, it cut through the richness and brought everything to life. Each bite felt clean, bright, and surprisingly layered.

Crispy, Cheesy, and Bold: Verona Exotica Pizza

Next came the Verona Exotica Pizza (Roma style)—and it did not disappoint. The thin, crisp crust had just the right snap. It held its shape but still yielded slightly at the edges.

On top, sun-dried tomatoes brought a deep, tangy sweetness. Artichoke hearts added a tender bite, and fresh basil delivered that unmistakable Italian aroma. All of it melted together under a blanket of cheese.

What stood out? A subtle smoky char at the base. Combined with a whisper of heat, it gave the pizza a complex edge without overpowering the simplicity. Every slice invited the next.

Fiery Elegance: Spicy Chicken Prato

For a bit of heat, we tried the SpicChicken Prato (Napilo Style). Instantly, the char-grilled chicken stole the spotlight. Juicy and tender, it was packed with bold Neapolitan spices that danced on the palate. The dish didn’t rely on heat alone. Instead, it was carefully balanced. Fresh herbs offered earthiness. A splash of citrus zest added brightness. Together, they rounded out the fiery notes and kept the flavors sharp but elegant.

Creamy Meets Classic: Ravioli Pomodori Secci

Up next: the comforting Ravioli Crema Pomodori Secci. Each raviolo was delicately stuffed with creamy ricotta, rich but not heavy. The sun-dried tomato sauce was smooth, slightly tangy, and velvety in texture.

It was a dish that whispered luxury. Yet, it remained humble. It warmed the soul while indulging the senses.

A Bold Fusion: Spaghetti Diavolpa

Craving something new, we tried the Pollo Paprika Corn Spaghetti Diavolpa. This dish took us by surprise. The spaghetti was al dente, holding its bite well. The chicken was juicy, the corn sweet and golden.

But it was the paprika-infused sauce that brought it all together. Smoky, bold, and slightly sweet, it lingered beautifully after each bite. This was a fusion that worked—and then some.

Sips that Refresh: Signature Mocktails

To complement the meal, we ordered a trio of refreshing beverages. The Orange Passion Crush was tropical and sweet, with a tangy finish. The Green Apple Basil Cooler was crisp, with basil cutting through for an herbal twist.

Finally, the Virgin Mojito was a classic—minty, limey, and cooling to the core. These drinks weren’t just sides—they elevated the whole experience.

Setting the Scene: Ambiance & Vibe

The interiors at Pasta Street Punjabi Bagh are modern yet warm. Think sleek décor, cozy lighting, and casual seating that invites conversation. There’s an upbeat vibe that suits both family dinners and laid-back dates.

Moreover, the staff deserves praise. Attentive, polite, and always smiling—they added genuine warmth to the entire visit.

In every course, from salad to dessert (or sip), Pasta Street Punjabi Bagh proved itself as more than just another Italian eatery. It’s a flavorful celebration of passion, authenticity, and creativity. If you’re craving a break from the usual, head here. Come for the pasta, stay for the pizza, and leave planning your next visit. Because here, every plate tells a story—and every bite is a love letter to Italy.
