Anushka Sharma, actor, and cricketer Virat Kohli blessed with a baby girl. In order to announce that the couple welcomed their first child on Monday afternoon, Virat took to social media, he said, “Anushka and the baby, are both safe.”
The statement from Virat read, “We are thrilled to share with you that this afternoon we were blessed with a baby girl. We thank all of you for your support, for your prayers and for your good wishes. Both Anushka and the child are well, and we feel beyond fortunate to begin this new chapter of our lives. We hope that, at this time, you will respect our privacy. Virat, love.”

In August 2020, Virushka, as their fans address them affectionately, revealed that they will add another member to the family. In identical tweets, they wrote, ‘And then there were three of us!”

Anushka said in an interview with a fashion magazine how during her first trimester, she just ate toast and crackers. For the first three months, I just ate toast and crackers. So, I wanted to eat vada pao and bhel puri when it finished, but that didn’t last long either. So, she didn’t express any true cravings.

In addition, the actor discussed how she doesn’t want to raise a child in the public eye with her husband Virat. She said, “We’re not planning to involve our child on social media. It’s a choice that your child should be able to take, I suppose. No child should be made to be more special than the other one. It is tough enough for grown-ups to deal with it.
