The company has announced that the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G India launch is scheduled for January 18 at 12:30pm IST. The Last month, in China, the Oppo Reno 5 series, including Oppo Reno 5 5G, Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G, and Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ 5G, made its debut. And, a few days ago in Vietnam, the Oppo Reno 5 4G version was introduced. Only the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G has been reported to be released in India as of now. But it is possible that, in the near future, the company will launch other models in the country.

Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G launch in India, expected price
The Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G will be released in India at 12:30pm IST on January 18. The company will hold an event for the launch of the phone and has not shared the pricing and selling date of the phone as of now. Launched early in December last year in China, the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G comes in two configurations. The 8 GB + 128 GB version is priced at CNY 3,399 (approximately Rs. 38,200) and the 12 GB + 256 GB option is priced at CNY 3,7999 (approximately Rs. 38200) (roughly Rs. 42,700). Three-colour choices are provided for the Oppo phone: Aurora Blue, Moonlight Night, and Starry Night.
Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G specifications
The specifications for the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G Indian version are supposed to be the same as the Chinese variant. On Android 11, with Color OS 11.1 on top, the dual-SIM (Nano) Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G runs. It has a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED curved display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, a screen-to-body ratio of 92.1 percent, and a pixel density of 402ppi. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimension 1000+ SoC, combined with the ARM G77 MC9 GPU and up to 12 GB of RAM under the hood. The phone configurations for the Indian market can differ.
The Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G has a quad rear camera system for photography and videography, comprising a 64-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.7 lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens, a 2-megapixel macro shooter with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel portrait shooter with an f/2.4 lens. You get a 32-megapixel sensor housed in a hole-punch cut out in the top left corner of the screen for selfies.
The phone comes with onboard storage of up to 256 GB, which is not expandable. Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C charging port are all communication options. A 4,350mAh battery that supports 65W rapid charging is backed up by the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G. On-board sensors include geomagnetic sensors, proximity sensors, accelerometers, gyroscopes, and gravity sensors. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner on the phone. It is 159.7×73.2×7.6 mm in dimension and weights 173 grams.
