Samsung launches contactless support options for consumers

With an aim to help the consumers in receiving uninterrupted services during the time of the Corona crisis, Samsung has gone a step further and broadened its network of offerings Samsung, India’s most trusted consumer electronics and smartphone brand has begun to offer several benefits to its consumers including contactless service options. The company has initiated the efforts to remain in touch with its consumers through Whatsapp, live chat, live video calling, and a slew of several other ways that are being put in place.

With the initiative, consumers can now receive instant feedback and support from the company and get their technical resolved from the comfort of their house only. They no longer will have to hunt for help and visit companies’ service centers for technical support unless its the only resort left. According to the information shared by the company with this step company will strengthen its contactless customer service offerings in the country. By sending a whats app message to Samsung’s WhatsApp support number 1800-5-SAMSUNG (1800-5-7267864) consumers can now get themselves registered for the service. The company will ensure to extend technical support pertaining to repair of the product, special discounts, schemes, offers and issues of software or hardware, etc.

“At Samsung, consumers are at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to providing them with a customer-first care experience through best in class services. WhatsApp support is another step we have taken to provide contactless service options to our consumers, especially in the current situation. We are confident that this will help us deepen our consumer connect while providing greater convenience to them. We are hopeful our consumers will utilize the WhatsApp support service to ensure they stay home and stay safe,” said Sunil Cutinha, Vice President, Customer Service, Samsung India.

Alongside, Samsung consumers have several contactless service options that help them resolve their issues without stepping out of their homes. These are:
• Remote Support – Over 70,000 queries are resolved through this service every month
• Live Chat- Over the last few months, over nine thousand queries have been resolved through this feature on an average every day
• Technical assistance through the call center or access do-it-yourself videos on the Samsung Website and on YouTube etc.
