Create a home gym at a shoestring budget!

This year Coronavirus has just blown our lives. There had been a complete nation lockdown, all the borders were sealed and social distancing maintained in all the cities. As parks, salons, and places for rejuvenation start operating, gyms and health clubs still remain shut.  Under such circumstances having a workout station or personal gym space at home is also a good option for many.

 

Fitness freaks and health buffs who are worried about going out for jogging with their masks on or gaining weight while being stranded at home. By creating a home gym you can get back to your gymming routine and you don’t need to get heavy gymming equipment installed at your home to meet the requirement. By managing conglomeration of goods from your kitchen itself you can go for a makeshift substitute and enjoy gym indulgence at home. Here are some easy quick fixes for you to follow. And trust us this makeshift gym can be created without creating a hole in your pocket.


Water bottles
Easily available in every home these plastic water bottles are really easy to hold and weigh one pound. So, grab one of these bottles for your light workout. And if a bottle has ridges it can also provide easy grip.
Bags of Rice and Grains – Bags of Rice and grains are best used as weight equipment. They are easy to hold and have different weights, you can use one-pound bags of grains and five pounds of a bag of grains according to your workout. It’s easier to hold small bags as they have a good grip. if you are using heavy bags keep in mind to hold with both hands.
Milk Containers – Gallon is another best option as weights to work out. A gallon of milk container weighs 8.6 pounds and a half-gallon weighs about 4.3 pounds and the quart is more than 2 pounds. Make sure that it’s well-sealed so you don’t have the risk of spilling milk. This equipment is good for muscle strength exercises.

Shoulder Bag – The shoulder bag is the best equipment for working out for your back or belly. Fill that bag with really heavy books or stones, then it will become really heavy for exercising. You can hold that bag with Handles while doing squats or you can carry it on your back for sit-ups. This is probably the best workout.

Cast Iron Skillet – This can be a really silly and funny option for you but a cast-iron skillet weight of 12.5 and a short one weighs up to 10 pounds. These hefty pans can be really good and helpful in goblet squats. Its handle can help you hold it properly. It’s really heavy so you have to carry it with the utmost care.
