Huawei launches its Huawei Watch GT 2 in India

Finally, the Huawei Watch GT 2 which Huawei announced earlier in September has finally arrived in India.

If you are willing to purchase the product, we would like to tell you that the watch will be available in two sizes, 42mm and 46mm. The 42mm Huawei Watch GT 2 will be available only in a single colour, and that will be Night Black. The 42mm Huawei Watch GT 2 will cost around INR14,990 ($210/€190), in the Indian market.

On the other hand, the 46mm model will be available in several colours, including Matte Black, Pebble Brown and Titanium Grey. This version of the watch will be available at INR15,990 ($225/€200), INR17,990 ($250/€230), and INR21,990 ($310/€280), respectively.

At present, we have reports that the 46mm version of the smartwatch will be available on, Flipkart and other offline retailers across the country starting from December 19. But if you are willing to put your hands on the Huawei Freelace Bluetooth earphones worth INR6,999 ($100/€90) for free, then you have to pre-order the smartwatch between December 12 and December 18.

Also, Huawei will sell its 42mm model through offline and online retailers, but at present, there is no sale date for the 42 mm model.

The 42 mm model features a 1.2 “AMOLED display with a resolution of 390×390 pixels while the 46-mm version is flaunted on a 1.39” screen with a resolution of 454×454 pixels. Our news sources have reported that the Watch GT 2 will be powered by Huawei’s own Kirin A1 SoC.

Our news sources have reported that the new Watch GT 2 will work with both iPhone and  Android smartphones and will also include features like cardiac rate monitoring, sleep surveillance and fitness tracking features. GPS and Bluetooth 5.1 compatibility and water resistance of up to 50 meters will also be supported by the smartwatch.
