A recent report has confirmed that Honor, which is Huawei’s subsidiary company introduced a new lineup of products yesterday, and one of the new products included a true wireless in-ear headphones, dubbed Honor Flypods 3. Along with the new Honor Flypods 3, there are reports that the company also revealed its Honor V30 series.
The in-ear design of Honor’s Flypods 3 has two separate front pieces for a truly wireless experience. The conference showcased its elegant white body form factor alongside its casing which houses and charges the earphones. The Flypods 3 also has an elongated stalk attached to the main body, similar to the Apple AirPods. They are made of silicone earbuds that cover their audio output region.
The inside of the Flypods 3 features a 10 mm dynamic belt unit which is designed to provide more depth in bass. The device also has a polymer composite diaphragm for a richer and clearer hearing experience and a three-frequency equalization of the tuning for the “Golden Ear.” The earphones also feature three separate microphones, one to receive calls, the other to catch sounds inside the earbuds and the third to pick up ambient noise.
The Honor Flypods 3 can remove external noise via the long-lasting region with its microphone which records the ambient sound of the users surrounding to send cancellation waves in-ear. It also records sounds trapped in-ears via the secondary mic to send out a second wave of noise-cancelling waves to reduce any residual sounds. With the Flypods 3 users need not remove one earpiece to listen to the outside world since they have a side-by-side mechanism to make noises from outside hearable if a user chooses to do so. This makes an overall improved audio experience for earphones when users listen to music or watch a video outside.
